Princess and Magic Man Return to the Castle and Princess Learns to Fly

The Princess and the Wizard were making their way through the desert

Lucy the Guineabear was leading the pack, waddling her big guineabear butt as she raced through the sands!

The Wizard thanked the Princess for helping him and told the Princess that if there was anything she wanted in return, he would do his best to make that happen

The princess thought about it…

But she couldn’t decide

And she wanted to focus on the cure for her curse

The Wizard said he would think of something good, or if she wanted something all she had to do was ask

They made their way back to the Princess castle

As they made it back to castle, the Chimp Sage greeted them, carrying fertilizer for the herbs that he had begun growing in the royal garden

The Wizard was a little wary

He was a Chimp, after all

But the Princess was very happy to see him, and asked lots of questions about how things were going and how the herbs were growing

The Sage told her that everything was going great! And that he had found a good spot in the grounds to make a home

The Chimp Sage sized up the Wizard, also very cautious

The Wizard was holding a floating, glowing Lich skull after all

The Princess was super excited and introduced them to each other, and said that she hoped they both got along well, and that both of them wanted to help her and her castle to be as awesome and safe as possible

The Wizard hugged the Princess, and told her that he needed to go study the elixir, so he would be in the library

The Princess was excited! And she and the Wizard had just gotten home! She wanted to spend time with him, not just do research and magical experiments!

So the Wizard relented, and said they could play a game before study

The sage smiled and went back to the garden, he liked taking care of the plants there

The Wizard thought about what would be a good game

Then the Princess had an idea!

She wanted to play with magic!

So the Wizard thought hard about what would be fun

First he made flowers appear for the princess, lovely blooming yellow and pink flowers, and roses that smelled amazing!

Then he cast illusions that glittered and shimmered through the sky, a rainbow of colors and sparkles that reflected off the Princess’s eyes!

The Princess loved it!

For his final trick, the Wizard revealed a secret!

The Princess LOVED secrets!

Especially about the Wizard!

So she leaned in close and the Wizard told her that he had learned some magic from the druids and the fey of the Weald and the great forest

The Wizard ran his hand down the Princess’s back

She felt her skin tingle

More and more, until she felt like her whole body was sparking and light as a feather!

She looked down and she wasn’t on the ground anymore!

She looked behind her and she has sprouted glowing, vibrant, sparkly blue butterfly wings!

They seemed to be made of glowing light, that tickled her back, and seemed to move on their own!

“Hmm” the Wizard said

That’s not right!

He waved a hand and the wings shimmered, and became Pink!!!

The Princess LOVED the color pink, and she loved the butterfly wings so much that she felt like she wanted to jump up and down !

She quickly realized her wings were making her go higher and higher! And she laughed and laughed!

She could see her whole castle from up there!

She could see Lucy the Guineabear munching on leaves and hay

And Mittens the tiger laid out on one of the roofs, overlooking the grounds

And Winnie the wolfhound was jumping up and down, excited to be home!

The Princess was amazed!

She came down to the Wizard! Her feet floating above the ground before the magic of the wings seemed to whisper away and fade

The Wizard caught her in his arms and helped her to the ground

That was some of the best magic ever!!!

The Wizard was happy she loved it so much!

He told her that he would show her more magic and they would have time after he had time to study the elixir

But first he had to be a worker

And do research and find out more about the elixir and her curse

The Princess was disappointed but she knew it was important

So she asked if she could come with and just hang out with the Wizard and maybe help with magic research

The Wizard told her of course! She was always welcome to come and that he always loved spending time with the Princess and talking to her!

So the two of them went to the study

The Wizard ran his hand up the Princess’ back again and she could feel the magic stir again and the wings cast a pretty pink glow as they walked through the halls to the study

The Princess was happy to be home, and even happier that the Wizard was with her again
