Spy Chimp Tries to Make Banana Bread

Now let’s see here………………

One day,

Spy Chimp was given special orders

To find a new kind of nanner

They didn’t know what to make of it

The chimp rumors were it was nanners

But it wasn’t in nanner form

It was some kind of nanner you cooked

Spy Chimp had special orders to infiltrate a special chimp scientist lab

Deep in the Princess and Wizard kingdom territory

He went as a chimp on chimpcation

The lab chimps were suspicious

They gave Spy Chimp a tour

Showed him how they made special products

Including something the Wizard taught them to make for the Princess and the friendly chimps

Something called

Banana bread

Spy Chimp didn’t know what that was

But it had banana in it

Spy Chimp was intrigued

He didn’t know what it was

But nanner was in the name

So it must be good

He followed chimp bakers through the factory

Taking notes

He reported back to chimp bosses

Apparently they needed “flower”

So Spy Chimp went and got flowers

Then they needed sugar

So Spy Chimp got sugar

Then he needed eggs

So he stole eggs from the royal chimp chickens

Because how else would he get good quality ingredients for chimp bosses

So Spy Chimp combined what he had

Flower

🌹

Sugar

Eggs

🥚🥚🥚🥚

And apparently something called “love”

Whatever that was

Spy Chimp wasn’t sure

But the next ingredient was nanners

And Spy Chimp loved nanners

So that wasn’t a problem

He put nanners in

Apparently Princess and Wizard had lots of love

But Spy Chimp only loved nanners

So he put those in again

He mixed them up and put them in a pan

Then Spy Chimp put them in the oven

Uh oh

That’s not how you make banana bread!

He pulled the nanner bread he made out of the oven and had the chimp scientists sample it

Spy Chimp had lots of angry chimps

This tasted like flowers!

No bread or nanners

Spy Chimp tried to think of a good solution

But he wasn’t a good chimp thinker

So the best he had was add more nanners to recipe

Surprisingly the lab chimps and their colleagues loved this

‘Cause they love nanners

Who cares about anything else?

So he kept adding nanners to the recipe

Until the recipe was so much nanner that the whole loaf of banana bread looked like a nanner

Spy Chimp went back to the Nanner Security Agency

He took it to his bosses

They tried the nanner loaf

One boss hated it

Another chimp loved it!

Another chimp wasn’t sure what to think

Spy Chimp finally tried it!

He loved it!

He felt like bouncing off the walls!

That was some concentrated nanner!

He knew he had to save some for his new boss

And maybe scientist chimps if he met some again

He decided he would hide the nanner ingredients list and recipe where nobody would ever look

In his tax folder!

No chimp could bear to look at that without passing out!

No chimp would ever check his taxes

That was too much work for not enough nanners

Spy Chimp had a plan

But he needed to find a good trustworthy chimp baker

A chimp’s chimp

Who knew what kind of flowers 💐were needed for bread

Spy Chimp still had his doubts

But he would find someone

So he went to a florist looking for a good chimp baker

They had experience with this “flower” that was used in baking

They probably had good chimp references

No monkey business allowed

Chimp eventually found a good chimp business

Called Fancy Chimpastries

He dropped the recipe with them

And prayed to the great big nanner in the sky that they would have a good recipe for him

And maybe they would know what flowers 🌺 had to do with bread

Then Spy Chimp waited to hear back from the chimpastrie baker

He hoped he would have a good answer soon

He needed to have the perfect nanner bread!
