Princess Comes to Rescue Magic Man From the Lich

Now let’s see here………..

Last in our story

Princess had found Chimp Sage and the ancient chimp herbs

And the Wizard had traveled to an ancient underground sanctum and was looking for an elixir for the Princess

And was betrayed by a Lich!

And the Princess was going to start looking for him….

Well the Wizard woke in the sanctum, his hands and feet bound in magical thread!

The Wizard couldn’t use his magic! Every time he tried to draw on it or cast a spell, his magic would get stolen, and he would feel even weaker!

The Lich would question the Wizard about where his magic came from, and where could the Lich find powerful artifacts and books of spells

The Wizard refused to answer, and wouldn’t budge, for he was sure the Lich was up to no good and would steal all the power for himself

Meanwhile…..

The Princess was back in her castle, overseeing the planting and use of the Chimp Sage’s herb plants

But the Princess began to worry

When she wore her magic cloak, it began to feel colder

When she checked her magic mirror for the Wizard and for any messages he left her, there weren’t any

The Princess grew very very upset

She knew the Wizard wouldn’t leave her like that!

And his magic was supposed to last forever!

She knew the only way something like that could be happening was if the wizard was having his powers drained!!!

She set out looking for the Wizard

She knew for sure he needed her help, she would have heard from him otherwise

She searched the arctic glaciers, but the magic mirror said he wasn’t there

She checked the oceans, but the mirror said that he was elsewhere

She even checked the swamp! Even though both of them hated it!

She checked the volcanoes and barely detected something! In the desert on the other side!

She summoned her faithful companions to guide her to the desert!

There was Lucy the Guinea Bear! With sharp chompers and agile claws

And Winnie the war hound, with a sharp sense of smell and a loud roar!

And Mittens the elder war tiger, who was as protective as he was grumpy!

She rode Lucy to the desert, followed by Winnie and Mittens……….

Eventually

She had to leave Lucy behind cause the desert was too hot for her feetsies, and she needed food

Mittens stayed because he didn’t want to have to walk a lot, and the desert looked very hot

But Mittens was secretly watching out for Lucy

And Winnie volunteered to watch both of them

So the Princess went into the desert, until she saw glowing lights coming from beneath the sands!

She began digging at the sand with her bare hands! Certain she would find something!

She found a rock, a glowing sunstone!

She knew the only way to find that was in magical places of learning and the fanciest castles

So she kept digging!

Eventually she found herself digging into the stairs of a big library

It was built like an upside down castle!

The Princess was cautious, and listened for any attackers or guards

The only thing she heard was rattling bones and the smell of fire

So she went deeper into the ruins

Eventually she saw the Wizard tied up in the great library!

She didn’t know what was going on, but the Lich was standing over him, clearly trying to drain his powers!

The Princess didn’t hesitate, she swing into action, and pulled her magic dagger from belt, and dove down from above!

She landed on the Lich’s skeletal shoulders, and let loose a big war cry before putting the dagger right into the top of his head

The Lich wobbled on his knees as the magic was drained out of his skeleton, before turning to dust

The thread binding the wizard to the floor began losing its glow the second the princess began cutting it! As if the magic was lost the second the cord was cut!

The Wizard was weak, and had no weapons, but he hugged the Princess right and told her how amazing and beautiful she was, but that she didn’t need to come looking for him

The Princess told him to stop being silly, that of course she would always look for her Magic Man

She helped drag the Wizard to another room, and get the rest of his restraints off

They began hearing pounding on the blocked door

It sounded weak at first, but then it got louder and louder!

They both knew at the same time, the Lich was already alive again, and he had summoned the undead to get them!

The Wizard finished getting his restraints off

They were made from a special metal meant to channel magic, that’s part of how his powers had been getting zapped!

The Wizard put some heat into his hands and melted down the metal, until it was liquid, and began casting a spell to make it harden!

The Princess knew that the Wizard had a plan, so she held the door as long as she could, making sure the wizard would have enough time

The banging had gotten so loud they could barely hear each other

The door crumbled! Revealing hordes of zombies behind the wall!

The Wizard had finished enchanting a wand made of magic steel, and let loose a huge jet of flames through the door! It burned and charred everything until there was nothing but ashes and bones!

“Hmm cwispy!” They both said at the same time!

But they knew the danger wasn’t over! They had to find the Lich or they would keep getting attacked

So the Wizard summoned an enchanted wall around the library, so they could plan their next move

The second they made sure they were safe they threw their arms around each other and told each other how much they missed one another and how awesome they were

They knew they wouldn’t have a lot of time, before they knew it the undead would be attacking again

But for then they could just hold each other and be happy they were both safe………
