Magic Man Fights the Ancient Vault Guardian

Last time in our story, the Wizard had teamed up with the Lich to defeat a great monster that was guarding a magic elixir that might be able to help the princess

The Wizard had gotten the wand of the Lich, and was told it would be a great help in defeating the monster!

The Lich told the Wizard that there was a key that the guardian had, capable of opening the door to the great archives

The Wizard was told that the guardian would be no problem, for it was far weaker than it used to be

The Wizard took that as a good sign, and got ready to march into the room of the artifacts when the monster showed itself.

It was a great big man, muscles the size of the Wizards’ chest, and snake skin and a horned head on top

His voice boomed loud through the whole place

“I AM FORCE! YOU MUST DEFEAT THE TWO GUARDIANS OF THE VAULT TO GAIN ACCESS TO ITS TREASURE!!!”

The Wizard dodged the enormous guardian!

With its great horns and snake scales on it’s skin, the guardian looked like a demon!

The Wizard dodged under the beasts legs, and punched him in the nose!!!

But that seemed to not have much effect

Then the Wizard had an idea!

He lifted the monster with magic

Hiiiiiiiigh up into the air

Then he released the magic and the monster fell to the found

For good measure the Wizard impaled the monster with a dagger, just to make sure he was dead!

The demonic guardian spoke to the Wizard!

“You have defeated Force! He told the wizard! But one guardian remains……..”

You have beaten Force, but what about Deceit!?

The Wizard was very confused about this, but he figure out that the Princess was in danger from her curse and needed the elixir badly!

The Lich congratulated the Wizard and pointed to an elixir in the room behind the fallen guardian Force

When the Wizard went to grab an elixir, he felt a sharp pain in his back!

The Lich whispered in his ear

“I am Deceit, you should not have trusted me “

The Wizard felt his powers draining!

He turned to use the powerful wand on the skeletal Lich!

It fired, but the spells seemed to go through him, the Lich was completely unharmed!

Then the Wizard remembered that it was the wand belonging to the Lich, and had probably been enchanted to never hurt him!

The Wizard fell to the ground, feeling his strength fading

He realized that he had been stabbed in the back by the Lich named Deceit!

He struggled to find something to fight the Lich

But before he knew it he was losing strength and had passed out………
