Magic Man Fights a Hydra

A long time ago, there was a great and powerful wizard known as Magic Man!

He searched the land far and wide looking for magical knowledge

He dove deep into crypts and ruins for treasure and artifacts

He searched ancient libraries for books and scrolls

And he searched the oceans and the jungles and the desert

One time, he was in the desert looking for a scroll that would teach him how to summon a great beast!

Legend said it was a beast with multiple heads that could not be killed

So he searched far and wide until he was led to the desert and was looking for the great beasts lair

The sand whipped at his cloak and his face

And the days were hot and the nights were cold

Until one day he began feeling the sand rumble beneath his feet!

All of a sudden a huge snake rose out of the sands!

It towered over him, fangs dripping with acid

The wizard was quick and used his sword to cut the head off the snake!

And it fell on the sands

But no sooner than he had cut the head off than 3 more rose from the sands!

The wizard cut the heads off those too!

But he found that every time he cut a head off it grew back two more!!!!!!!

So the wizard had to think fast

His sword alone wouldn’t keep the snakes from growing more heads

Until he had an idea!

He grabbed handfuls of sand and he heated them up with fire magic, until they were glowing hot!

Then he cut the heads off and shoved the glowing hot sand on top of the necks

The heads kept trying to regrow but it wouldn’t work!!!!!!

It turned out the wizard had made molten glass!!!!

So the wizard kept cutting off heads and making sure they wouldn’t come back

In the desert, he had lots of sand and he was able to summon lots of fire

Until eventually he had defeated all the snake heads!!!

The wizard laid down in the sand

That was a LOT of work.

When eventually the sands shifted and a very tiny snake brought out a scroll teaching him how to do the summoning for the monster!!!

The wizard has finally found what he was looking for!

And he was able to return to his kingdom with new knowledge and power!
