Princess and Magic Man Meet Chitten the Chimp Kitten

Now let’s see here…………..

The Princess was wandering through the forest

She loved the trees and the rain and nature

When she came across a baby chimp creature!

It was weak and couldn’t survive on its own

It was a chimp kitten!

A chitten!

It leaped from branch to branch

Hunting for bugs and pests and mice in the forest to eat

The Princess didn’t like chimps

But this baby critter didn’t seem chimpy

She took pity on the chitten

It wasn’t it’s fault it was part chimp

But the Princess was still cautious

She gave the chitten many opportunities for chimpiness

But all it wanted was to curl up next to the princess in bed or in her lap

Eventually the princess found a small cage for the Chitten

Unlike chimps it wasn’t big enough to break out of the cage

And it never became mischievous or mean

It just licked its fur and climbed everywhere and ate bugs and pests!

Eventually the Princess brought the chitten to the Wizard

But he found that there was no traces of evil chimpiness to it

So the chitten was welcome to stay in the castle

The Princess kept it safe and it stayed with her and Magic Man

It liked head rubs and ear scritchies

And it slept in the chair near the Princess

No matter what the chitten never got bigger

It seemed to be happy staying small

And clung to the robe of the Princess or the Wizard when she visited

The Princess and the Wizard decided to adopt the chitten and welcome it into the castle

And that she would keep the chitten safe and that it would be part of the Princess and Magic Man family

The chitten was shy

But it was so happy with the Princess and the Wizard

They kept it safe and made sure nobody ever hurt it

And it became a special part of their family

The Princess and the Wizard loved the chitten

It was very adorable

It followed them around lots

And it clung to the Princess’ and the Wizard’s pants and robes

And liked to ride on her shoulder or sit in her lap

And climb the Wizard and try to sit on top of his hat

They made sure he had good food available

And he loved holding their fingers when they took naps

But they hadn’t decided what to name him

They did like chitten

They also weren’t sure if this was a new species or if he was one of a kind!

They took him to the Chimp Sage

Who was tending the royal gardens

The Chimp Sage hadn’t seen anything like him before!

The Chimp Sage checked the chitten

And he also found no trace of chimpery

Aside from his little chimp hands and chimp tail

But they weren’t for chimpery they were for climbing the Wizard and the Princess and catching bugs and pests

And holding their fingers

His hands were so small he could hold their hands

It seemed the chitten was safe to keep

So they thought long and hard about where they should keep him

Because it was clear he loved both of them and didn’t want to leave

And Lucy the guineabear liked him

And so did Winnie and Mittens

They decided that they would hang a little basket from the ceiling near the window so that the chitten would have a place to sleep and nap if he wanted to

The chitten loved his little bed!

He loved climbing up and down the chain and jumping around

And sometimes he would chew his little tail

They made sure the chitten always had a safe place to sleep

But the chitten liked following them around and staying near them when they slept

And sometimes he would climb up and nestle in the pockets or the hood of the Princess’ robe!

He got to nap there

And peak his head out and seek cool things from high up!

Eventually they decided that they would keep the chitten and maybe find others like him that were not contaminated by chimp

And the name Chitten stuck

And it became part of their magical royal family

The princess and the Wizard and the Chitten and Lucy and Winnie and Mittens

Chitten loved climbing the guineabear and resting in her fur

And that’s the story of how the Chitten found a family with the Wizard and the Princess, and got his own bed and made some big friends
